The Lazer Sentinel 9 Elite Gen2 is an updated version of the manufacturer’s popular Sentinel Elite auxiliary light. The new Gen2 version has the same familiar top-class performance and unparalleled wide combination beam as its predecessor, but in addition to these, the light has been introduced with a stylish parking light that illuminates the entire lens, burning in orange or white, a unique greeting function and the so-called “Flash To Dim” function, which allows the driver to easily switch the light output mode between road-approved and unrestricted mode whenever they want. The Sentinel Elite Gen2 is equipped with 32 high-power LEDs, which produce a light output of up to 15232 lumens, which, combined with highly reflective, vacuum-metallized reflector surfaces, creates a range of up to 742 meters @ 1 lux with just one light. When the lights are installed in parallel, for example 3 pieces, the combined range of the beams increases to almost 1300 meters.

The Sentinel Elite Gen2’s beam is precisely defined in height, allowing the light to be directed both widely to the edges of the road and far ahead at the height that is critical for traffic monitoring. In addition, the light has a carefully selected neutral 5000K color temperature, which is pleasant to the eyes. In addition to maximizing sharpness and accuracy, it also provides excellent resolution, which makes it easier to observe terrain and detect obstacles, for example. In addition, the 5000K color temperature works well even in poor weather conditions, such as fog and rain. The neutral color temperature has been shown to reduce eye strain, ensuring that the level of alertness remains good and the lighting does not strain the eyes during long periods of use, such as continuous work use. This makes using the lights both more pleasant and significantly safer! The manufacturer’s stated color rendering index (CRI) for the light is 80, which allows the colors and shapes of the target to be accurately reflected to the human eye, making the objects appear very similar to, for example, sunlight.

In addition to their high performance, the Sentinel series lights are built to last. In addition to the standard five-year warranty, the product’s virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens has a lifetime warranty. The hard-coated lens protects against scratches, meaning the light is also more resistant to marks caused by natural elements. The anodized, powder-coated aluminum frame ensures excellent resistance to corrosion and chemicals. In addition, the Sentinel series lights are dust and water-tight according to the IP68 protection rating. The lenses of the Sentinel series lights are designed without edges, as the completely flat front of the light reduces the accumulation of snow and ice in front of the lens. The extremely stylish design combined with the dark appearance ensure an impressive installation even on new vehicles! The included mounting base and a connection cable with a 3-pin Superseal connector ensure easy installation.

This light is a high beam in accordance with UNECE Regulation 112, which has been approved for road use thanks to the patented E-Boost technology. E-Boost technology allows the light to be used with reduced power on the road and with increased power outside normal road use, such as on closed tracks. In other words, E-Boost mode is not approved for road use. Switching between E-Boost and road use is simple, simply by switching the high beam off and then back on again, which will either reduce or increase the light output depending on which power mode is switched to.
